Drop-ins are 15-minute, in-person advising sessions for current students that do not require an appointment.
Students are welcome to come at any point during the times that fit their schedules. Drop-in meetings are held at the Career Center (220 Mitten Hall). You can come to drop-ins to talk through your interests and possible options, you do not need to have anything prepared to meet with a Career Peer.
Students can also meet with Career Peers at Career Peer Pop-Ups, which are held at different locations across campus. This semester, Career Peers Pop-Ups will be in Mazur Hall, Charles Library, and select residence halls.
Common topics covered during drop-in sessions include:
-
How the Career Center can help you
-
Resume and cover letter reviews
-
Job/internship search and application help
All undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to use Drop-in services. Please note, Career Peers do not review Personal Statements, CVs, or grad school applications. Students must make appointments with Career Coaches for these topics.
